My Junk E-mail filter doesn't work

Solution If you use Outlook on our Desktop, the Junk E-mail filter will not work.

Click the menu, Actions > Junk E-mail > Junk E-mail Options

to see this message:

"The Junk E-mail Filter is not available for your Microsoft Exchange e-mail account because you are working online. To enable the Junk E-mail Filter for this account, switch to Cached Exchange Mode."

If you don't see this message, you have probably ticked the "Please do not show me this dialog again" box some time in the past.

Also, it is not possible to switch to Cached Exchange Mode on a Remote Desktop (Terminal Services) platform.

So, although the options form then subsequently opens, the options you enter will not be used.

This environment is imposed by the Microsoft software architecture and will be the same on any remote desktop platform.

We monitor the software environment continually and will improve this if ever it becomes possible to do so.
